Blog of: Drmgurl

'Ello chums! Drmgurl here, owner of DrmgurlsWorld (D.G.W.) This is the place where all my updates and tinkering and additions to the site will be written down (and later on, all my frustrations and complaining about how most of it will be a pain in the butt, I'm sure) If you have any comments, feel free to share on the particular post. Bada-bing, bada-boom, I'm done!

(Oh, and if ur wondering...the pic (or really, one of my avatars) says "Faith Rahl" because...well, I'm a.k.a. Faith_Rahl too. And the "Me, Crazy? Nah!" part? Yeah...that's true. I think.)

*wipes off cobwebs*

Heh, I do this a lot, having to clean up these darn cobwebs.
Ah well.

So today I decided to work on my website (after a loooooooooooong absense). I mean, how could I resist? It's either this or homework, and frankly I choose this. Wouldn't you?

Allrighty... so all the links in the homepage "work", and by "work" I mean that you won't get the little "Error: page not found" thing for all of them. But some of them are still just blank or just not complete.

I added to "Stories" and "Link Me", so those are pretty much done, those don't change often anyway.

I added some more of my poetry in "Poems" because I just had some lying around.

And, for the most important part... I made a "New" icon so people will know when there are new things! WHOO. Yeah, I'm proud :-D

Phew.

List of links that work (at least, on the home page):

"Blog"

"Poems"

"Away Messages" (except...silly me, I didn't save it after I actually added the messages...will do later.)

"Legal-ness"

Okay, yeah, that's it. Still have a lot of work to do, I know.

Oh! And if anyone knows how to make "forms" on their website...help! Because I've tried doing it twice, using the same tags from two different sources...and it still doesn't work.

Man, I need an assistant >.<;;

First post! Aren't you excited?

Allright. My first impression of making a fully customizable blog? I think it's up there with the ranks of "duck" and "finals". In other words: Not very good. I went to, what it seems like, a billion customizable blogs, and they all were just terrible. In fact, this one was probably giving me the most grief. But I discovered that if I tinkered with it more (instead of bashing my head on the desk...which, apparently just gave me a headache) it could work. And, ta-da, it did! How exhausting. Needless to say, I'm proud! However, I wouldn't do it again in a million years, not even for the next new blog I need to make. Thankfully, there's a thing called "Cut & Paste" :)
